Welcome to our Cozy Cabin!

Experience local living on your next Catskill Getaway Vacation!
Our cozy, simple yet romantic cottage is situated on a tiny side street in a small town of Prattsville, NY. Our town is located in the majestic Catskill Mountains near Windham and Hunter Mountains, New York, and is perfect for a couples that are looking for a simple, cozy getaway.
Inside the cottage: two spacious bedrooms that are placed on opposite sides of the house and separated by a hallway, ensuring privacy for couples. Each bedroom has a queen and single bed, and can sleep 3 guests. When renting for up to three people, the second bedroom is locked in order to avoid the extra cost of cleaning, cooling and/or heating etc while offering lower rates. The second bedroom can be requested for an additional fee, and is included when renting for four to six guests.
Cottage has an open kitchen with a dining area plus, full bathroom with a tub and a small living room (love seat and chair).
Our cabin is peaceful, cozy and homey.
Guests also enjoy the front yard area, with two spacious porches, table, chairs, garden swing and an outdoor grill!

Space and Privacy for couples

Simple and inviting space.

While kitchen, dining area and tiny living room are open from the main entry, couples can enjoy their privacy since bedrooms are situated on the opposite sides of our house and separated by a hallway with two doors, providing additional privacy.

What's inside the cottage:

Kitchen includes a refrigerator, basic accessories, microwave, coffee maker, stove top (oven does not work), glasses, utensils, etc.
Each Bedroom has a queen and single size bed, small Basic Cable TV Programming.
Living-room has a love seat, chair, small coffee table, TV, internet, and WI-FI.
Each bedroom is equipped with AC in the bedroom during the summer and electric oil filled heaters during winter to help provide a comfortable stay for our guests.
We require that heaters and AC are used on Low or Medium setting only. Outside the cabin guests are welcome to use two porches, our little grill and relax on the garden swing, or chairs by the table.

Near 100's of acres State Forest Preserves. Ideal for skiers, hikers, Mt. Bikers, fishermen, hunters, or just a relaxing stay!
Walk to Prattsville Diner, Tavern, or Great American grocery store for a sandwich, food and supplies.
Take a short walk to Schoharie Creek to enjoy the public beach area or to hike the Pratt Rock for a picnic with beautiful views.
Short drive to downtown Windham, Hunter and Durham for more restaurants, bars and seasonal festivals.
Our location is perfect if you enjoy hiking, biking, golf, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, Mt. Biking, local festivals, farmer's markets and other activities.
